INFANT & TODDLER CARE

A Nurturing Start for Growing Minds

At Storytime Child Care, our infant and toddler program provides a safe, responsive, and loving environment where children can build trust, explore their surroundings, and develop at their own pace. We support each child’s individual routines while creating meaningful opportunities for learning throughout the day.

Responsive Care & Strong Relationships

Young children learn best through secure relationships. Our caregivers respond to children’s cues, provide comfort and reassurance, and build consistent routines that help infants and toddlers feel safe, valued, and connected.

Learning Begins in Infancy

Everyday experiences become opportunities for learning. Through talking, singing, reading, sensory play, movement, and hands-on exploration, children begin developing language, early problem-solving, motor skills, curiosity, and awareness of the world around them.

Routines That Support the Whole Child

Feeding, diapering, rest, play, and transitions are treated as important parts of the learning day. We work to maintain familiar routines while helping children gradually build independence and confidence.

Supporting Development Through Play

Age-appropriate activities encourage reaching, grasping, crawling, walking, fine-motor development, cause-and-effect learning, and early social interaction. As children grow, experiences are adapted to support their emerging abilities and interests.

Growing Toward the Next Stage

Our goal is to help infants and toddlers develop secure relationships, strong developmental foundations, and a love of exploration as they prepare for the preschool years.
