At Storytime Child Care, our preschool program provides a nurturing environment where children learn through play, exploration, conversation, movement, and hands-on experiences. We support the whole child while helping preschoolers build confidence, independence, communication skills, and a strong foundation for future learning.
Purposeful Play & Early Learning

Children engage in developmentally appropriate activities that support early literacy, math, science, creativity, problem-solving, and fine- and gross-motor development. Learning is woven naturally into the day through play, stories, music, art, STEM experiences, and guided exploration.
Social & Emotional Growth
​
Preschoolers are learning how to express themselves, build friendships, take turns, follow routines, solve problems, and become more independent. Our teachers provide guidance and encouragement as children develop the social and emotional skills they need to thrive in a group setting.
Building Everyday Independence
​
Children are encouraged to practice age-appropriate self-help skills, care for their belongings, make choices, follow classroom routines, and take pride in what they can do for themselves.
A Strong Foundation for What Comes Next

Our goal is to help preschoolers develop a love of learning, confidence in themselves, and the foundational skills they will continue building as they move toward Pre-K and kindergarten.
