Getting your child where they need to be safely and on time matters. Storytime Child Care offers dependable transportation to and from select local schools, with safety, communication, and consistency at the heart of every trip.
Transportation Designed Around Families
Storytime Child Care provides dependable before- and after-school transportation for children ages 3 through 18. Transportation is available to children enrolled in our child care program as well as families who need transportation services only. Depending on route availability, we provide transportation from Storytime to school and back, or from home to school and back home.
Schools & Communities We Serve

Storytime Child Care currently provides transportation throughout DeSoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Lancaster ISDs, as well as area charter schools. Routes are based on current enrollment, school schedules, and availability.
Safety Comes First
Â
Storytime Child Care makes transportation safety a top priority. Our procedures include age-appropriate restraints, attendance and child-accountability checks, authorized release procedures, parent communication, and routine vehicle safety practices. Transportation safety training is required annually for staff responsible for transporting children.
Transportation Availability
Â
Transportation is included for children enrolled in Storytime Child Care. Transportation-only services are also available for families whose children do not attend our child care program. Because routes and seating are limited, transportation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to route availability.
